2011 Summit Recap

Nearly 100 registrants from the United States, Europe and Asia attended BPSA’s inaugural International Single-Use Summit (ISUS), July 27-29, 2011, in Washington, DC. Suppliers and users of single-use technology attended this business-focused Summit to hear presentations on the critical innovations and market drivers in the single-use manufacturing industry. The Summit also leveraged its Washington, DC venue by featuring sessions on the current legislative and regulatory initiatives affecting the biopharmaceutical industry, perspectives from Capitol Hill experts on prospects for further health-care reform amendments, and future market insights into biotechnology from leading market analysts. The Summit included several networking sessions designed to allow attendees to share their specific thoughts, ideas and concerns on the advancement of and challenges to the adoption of single-use technologies.
