2012 Summit Recap

Over 100 SUT suppliers and end-users from the United States and Europe attended BPSA’s second annual International Single-Use Summit (ISUS), July 23-25, 2012, in Washington, DC. The Summit’s role is to inform, provoke and air topical business issues relevant to both the vendor and end user bases – which is at the heart of BPSA’s mission.

This year’s Summit agenda spoke to the critical single-use "drivers" and included both the "10,000-foot views" on topics such as demographics, emerging economies, politics, regulations, and biopharma business strategies, as well as the "ear to the ground" topics such as particulates, disposal, component robustness, quality assurance, standardization and extractables.
